If you're happy and you know it, smile..

I was told we are different. In long conversation, or a casual text, I know that. But saying that means so many different things, yet it all is the same thing.

People find happiness in different ways, doing different things; the same with sadness. Not everything brings us down the same way. Not everyone responds or reacts to the same situation in a particular way. Well, if there's a fire in a building, you run out of it through the safest exit possible. But this isn't about mishaps, or public catastrophe. This is about being individual. Everyone is a different person. And everyone assumes they know what that means; most people don't realise what it means. It's all different paths, a different journey. We all prefer to target the happy, peaceful ending. It's the way we get there that the fuss is all about. There is no short road. There are starting points all equidistant. You can choose to smell the flowers. You can choose to race the winds. Or maybe, just take a nap, and walk a few steps every now and then, meeting other people, sharing your experiences as they pause from racing the wind, or perhaps, stop to smell the same flower you fancy.

There then begins another path. Walk along, or walk away; or, walk some of the distance, then go your own way. The latter is the one that can break you. Not applicable for everyone. Sometimes, lives are made walking small distances with different people, some are fulfilled walking the distance alone, but with certainty and surety of a happy ending. Happy are those who make it, well, until they look around. That's not the time. You have all the time in the world, but then you get bored looking, and depending on the time you have left, you walk backwards. Hell, you should've just stopped earlier.. *laugh*. Then they show up, the togetherwalkers. Last in line, but with the widest smiles. Ready to take their last steps at this colorful, yet limited area happy ending zone.

We are not different. We all want to be happy. We all need to be loved. We all want good things for those we care about and all those who care about us. If this has all been accomplished, is it not success?

Sure, you would want to carpet the path for your followers. Especially the rough patches. Why let your loved ones suffer for mistakes you made? Make it right, to the best of your power. All this at the end. When I thought it would end on a happy note. Trying to make the ending great is what brings out the thoughts that really matter. What truly matters though, is trying to make it better. By it, I mean every little thing that you can change to make it all better, every small detail you notice, because in the end, it'll be like plugging the holes of a dam. Well, not quite, but you know..

To all those who make me think, keep pushing me. It hurts, but then again, it inspires.. In the end. We just want to be happy.
